Seasons End

1st XI - Under the captaincy of Richard Green the 1st finished mid-table in the Premier League again, and at the half way point of the season were second in the league and in with a real shout for a shot at the title. Unfortunately a dip in form saw the side struggle during the second half of the season. An excellent run in the T20 Cup saw the 1s narrowly lose against Chester in the Final, thanks to an inspired innings from Adam Roylance and Josh McClelland excelling with the ball.

2nd XI - In his debut season as captain, Matt Titchard and the 2s struggled all season long with availability causing real problems for all teams, but the 2s suffering in particular. The 2s were relegated with by 1 point at the end of the season after 3 wins in the last 3 games gave them real hope but they fell agonisingly short and credit must go to the captain and players for the way they conducted themselves.

3rd XI - The 3s narrowly avoided relegation on the last weekend of the season. The first half of the season saw the 3s win only 1 game, but the form dramatically improved with 7 weeks to go with the team being undefeated during that time, with 4 of them being victories.
